10.5x47R Martini (Lorenz #14)

This is one Of many black powder cartridges used in Europe in the 1880-1890. It was predominantly used in single shot Target rifles , combination guns and drillings. The cartridge was never popular in the United States but there are many Combination guns that do chamber this round. Bullet size is appox .419 and weight range from 250 to 300 grains

The Martini style is generally the most common version with its long sloping sloping neck. In most european catalogs , this Is considered The Lorenz Pattern #14

There are several variations and neck length .
