8x53.5 Japanese Murata T22
The Japanese military adopted the cartridge in 1889.. It was to replace the prior 11mm version single shot. this was the first turn bolt adopted by the Japanese. This case and the 11mm version are very scarce cartridges. It was replaced in 1897 Bu the 6.5x50
