This cartridge appeared early in the center fire era. It was considered a Black Powder Cartridge but hung on well into the smokeless powder era. It was manufactured by just about all British Gun and Ammunition maker. Bullet weight ranged form 155 Grain Lead bullets to 300 GN. jacketed bullets. Sometime called the “.360 Minature Express.”. It was also Popular with thee british Cape guns This was considered a medium power cartridge
