9.5x60Rimmed Turkish Mauser M87

The Turkish Ottoman Empire used the cartridge in 1887 with there first turn bolt Rifle. This cartridge was the last black powder cartridge created by the Mauser factory. Introduced in 1887 using older German Mauser Model 1871/84 repeaters. This was a short lived rifle by the Turkish military. It was only used for appox three years This cartridge in it’s inception was completely outdated by 1888 . Mauser introduced there M88. Rifle were discontinued in 1890 and replaced by the newer 7.65 Mauser . Rifles In this caliber are considered collectors Items and original cartridges are even scarcer.

This case is also suitable for the 9.5 Turkish Peabody-Martini rifle which preceded the model M87 Mauser
