11.15x60 Rimmed “LK“ Express

The “LK” series of cartridges were designed in Germany in appox 1885. The LK was assumed to stand for the german word “LanKaster” meaning Shotgun. This case was one of the most Popular in The series. The series ranged from 40MM to 65MM in case length. This cartridge was used in Combination Guns and Drillings. This case was produced by most German manufacturers. It continued to be popular and advertised up to 1932. With the onset of WW2 , This and most of the Lk series were no longer made After the war many “Bring Backs’ were found to chamber This round and other in the series. The major difference In theses cases were the overall length. They ranged from 40MM to 60 MM in length
