6.5x65 Rimmed sauer

This is a long tapered case based on the English 360 style. The 6.5x65R Sauer was shown the 1912 Peterlongo Catalog. It is only known with a Utendoeffer Head stamp.. It was later listed by RWS/Utendoerffer in 1928 and called a Sauer & Son Case. This case and ammunition was discontinued Prior to The start Of WW2

This case and caliber was only used in Drilling, Combination guns and Double rifles
