22 K Hornet

The 22 Hornet had it’s origins with ballistic guru Lysle Kilbourn developed it in 1940 by opening up the chamber slightly and blowing the Hornet’s case out to a straighter, sharp shouldered “improved” version. This case was very popular in the Late 1940’s and 50’s with varmint and target shooters alike.
